Fine art gallery membership for Artnet and Artsy

Compare clear 12-month representation plans, what is included and the responsibilities of artist and gallery.

Fine art gallery membership for serious artists

Studio 54 Fine Art offers selective paid gallery membership for emerging, mid-career and established artists worldwide. Membership combines professional profile preparation, curated artwork presentation, platform administration and gallery-led collector enquiry support.

Every application is reviewed before an offer is made. Membership is not a purchase of guaranteed sales, awards or editorial placement. It is a 12-month representation service built around clear professional standards.

Choose your representation plan

Artnet membership is €50 per month and may include up to 30 accepted works. Artsy membership is €50 per month with the initial selection agreed during onboarding. Combined membership is €100 per month for artists seeking coordinated representation across both platforms.

Each route includes portfolio review, profile preparation, accurate artwork records, ongoing availability management and professional responses to qualified enquiries. Additional promotional opportunities are selected according to suitability and are not guaranteed.

Sales commission and ownership

The standard completed-sale split is 60% to the artist and 40% to Studio 54 Fine Art. Artists retain ownership until a sale completes and give the gallery permission to present accepted work under the membership agreement.

Packing, shipping, insurance, customs and transaction-specific responsibilities are agreed case by case. Artists must maintain consistent prices and tell the gallery immediately when a listed work is reserved, sold or withdrawn.

What happens after acceptance

Accepted artists receive the current agreement and onboarding requirements. We agree the platform route, initial artwork selection, pricing and profile materials before publication. No payment is requested simply to submit an application.

What membership does not promise

Membership does not guarantee a sale, fixed enquiry volume, editorial coverage, newsletter placement, an exhibition or acceptance of every submitted artwork. Collector demand depends on the work, pricing, timing and wider market conditions.

The programme provides a professional gallery relationship, recognised platform access for accepted artists, consistent presentation and a clear route for enquiries. Publishing limitations alongside benefits allows artists to make an informed decision.

Is this membership right for you?

The programme suits artists with a coherent body of available work, professional images, consistent prices and the ability to ship safely. Prompt responses and current availability are essential throughout the term.

If your portfolio is still highly experimental or prices change frequently, refine those foundations first. Our journal includes guides to portfolio presentation, pricing and discovery. When the practice is ready, application begins with a confidential review rather than immediate payment.
