Looking for an art gallery?

A route for artists seeking international representation.

Artists often search for galleries accepting submissions, online gallery representation, opportunities for emerging artists, or a way to present work on Artsy and Artnet. Our programme brings those needs into one selective gallery relationship.

We consider painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media, works on paper and limited editions. Applications are assessed on the strength and consistency of the work—not simply follower count or location.

Frequently asked

Before you apply.

How do I get gallery representation for my art?

Submit a concise portfolio, biography, artist statement, artwork details and prices. We review artistic quality, consistency, market fit and professional readiness before offering membership.

Can an independent artist sell on Artsy or Artnet?

Artists generally appear on these platforms through participating galleries. Accepted Studio 54 Fine Art members may be presented through our gallery programme according to the membership selected.

Is representation guaranteed?

No. Studio 54 Fine Art reviews every application and accepts artists whose work and presentation fit the gallery programme.

Is this a free service?

No. This is a paid membership programme for accepted artists. Full membership terms and current pricing are provided before you make any commitment.

How long is the Artnet or Artsy programme?

Artnet, Artsy and the combined membership are 12-month representation programmes. Fees are shown as monthly amounts: €50 per platform or €100 monthly for both.

What commission applies when an artwork sells?

The standard sales split is 60% to the artist and 40% to Studio 54 Fine Art. The complete terms are provided for review before an artist joins.

How many artworks can I present?

Artnet membership may include up to 30 professionally prepared works. Your initial Artsy selection is agreed during onboarding so the presentation remains coherent, accurate and commercially focused.

Do I keep ownership of my artwork?

Yes. You retain ownership of your original artwork until it is sold. The gallery receives permission to present and market accepted works under the membership agreement.

What happens if an artwork is not accepted for a platform?

We will explain the issue and work with you to replace the work or improve the listing information where appropriate. Individual artwork acceptance is subject to platform standards.

What promotional support is included?

Every accepted artist receives professional profile and artwork presentation. Additional opportunities may include curated selections, editorial content, newsletters, social media and gallery campaigns; placement is based on suitability and is not guaranteed.

Does membership guarantee artwork sales?

No gallery can honestly guarantee a sale. Membership gives your work professional representation and access to established art-market platforms, while results depend on the work, pricing, collector demand and market conditions.

Can I apply if another gallery already represents me?

Yes, provided your existing agreement permits it and the works offered through us do not create a conflict. Tell us about any current representation when you apply.

Can I apply from outside Europe?

Yes. We welcome applications from artists worldwide, provided artworks can be professionally documented and safely shipped when sold.

Who handles shipping when an artwork sells?

Shipping, insurance, packaging and customs are agreed for each sale. Artists must provide accurate packed dimensions and be able to prepare work safely for collection.

What should I include with my application?

Please include your biography, artist statement, country, website or social profile, and a portfolio of your strongest available works with details and prices.
