A complete certificate should identify the artist, artwork title, year, medium, dimensions, edition number and size, signature location, issue date, and the issuing gallery or artist. Before purchase, Studio 54 Fine Art confirms which of these fields applies to the individual work and who will sign the certificate.
The certificate must come from the artist, artist’s studio, authorised estate, publisher or representing gallery. For each work, we identify the issuer before payment. The name and authority of the signatory are stated on the document rather than implied by gallery letterhead alone.
An edition register records each numbered impression, its certificate and its status. The exact register holder and treatment of artist’s proofs vary by artist, so we confirm both for the chosen work. Artist’s proofs remain separately identified and are never presented as numbered examples from the main edition.
A collector can compare the artist’s biography, represented works and public record across independent sources. Studio 54 Fine Art maintains official gallery profiles on Artsy and Artnet, and links to relevant artist pages. Museum collections, catalogues and monographs are listed only when a source can be verified.

The process is confirmed artwork by artwork because the gallery represents artists working in different media. Before purchase, the buyer receives a written statement naming the artist’s process, materials, physical output and any digital or AI-assisted tools used. Display life depends on the named paper, ink, mounting system, glazing and environment; a responsible figure cannot be given without those specifications. We therefore supply the exact production record before purchase and state any manufacturer-tested permanence data together with its assumed light, temperature and humidity conditions.
An original is the unique physical work made or authorised as the primary work. A limited edition has a fixed declared number of impressions, normally signed and numbered. An open print has no fixed edition ceiling. The artwork specification states which category applies; the terms are not interchangeable.
Keep artwork away from direct sunlight, radiators, fireplaces, persistent moisture and rapid temperature changes. Use clean dry hands or gloves when handling unframed work. Clean glazing only with a product approved for that material, never spray a cleaner directly onto the frame, and ask us before moving a large face-mounted work.
A condition note is supplied before purchase for every available work. A fuller signed condition report is appropriate for higher-value, previously installed, secondary-market or visibly delicate works. It records the face, edges, frame, glazing, mount, verso and any known treatment at the date of inspection.
Known restoration, retouching, replacement framing, surface repair or other material intervention must be disclosed in writing before sale. Studio 54 Fine Art will not describe a restored work as untouched. Where the history cannot be verified, that limitation is stated plainly in the condition documentation.
Part 3
Price can reflect the artist’s established primary-market level, edition size, dimensions, production and framing cost, exhibition and documented auction record, and position within an edition run. The gallery confirms the price for the exact work; an enquiry is free, private, carries no obligation and does not add you to a mailing list.

As a starting point, artwork or a grouped arrangement often occupies about two-thirds to three-quarters of the furniture width beneath it, while the visual centre commonly sits near 145–150 cm from the floor. Architecture, sightlines and seated viewing can change that recommendation, so we test the actual wall before framing.
The specification should state image and sheet dimensions, framed and unframed dimensions, depth and packed weight in centimetres and inches. Use even, low-UV lighting with controlled glare and no direct sun. Acrylic face-mounts can produce reflections opposite windows or spotlights, so light direction matters as much as brightness. A dimmable, high-colour-rendering source is preferable; the final position should be checked from the room’s normal viewing angles.

The buyer owns the physical artwork; the artist retains copyright and reproduction rights unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. The owner may display it privately or publicly, lend it to an exhibition, resell it, and photograph it for insurance or personal records.
Commercial reproduction, merchandise, advertising, publishing beyond a permitted editorial context, NFT creation and digital minting require written permission from the copyright holder. Buying the object does not transfer these rights. Ask the gallery before authorising any third party to reproduce the image commercially.
Part 6
Packing, crating, courier and transit cover must match the work’s size, surface and destination. Delivery timing begins after cleared payment, final condition confirmation and any framing work.
